This is an face-to-face orientation class in a computer lab setting for an online course on the proper steps to starting a sideline business.

| What is not required: | It is not necessary to have an idea for a business already. We will review various options based on the book "101 Businesses You Can Start With Less Than One Thousand Dollars: For Stay-at-Home Moms & Dads." by Heather Shepard. |

About the instructor
Scott See has his BBA in Finance from Emory University and MBA in Marketing from Fordham University. Scott has been self employed for 17 years after having worked in the advertising industry in New York City. Scott has also been the Executive Director of an industry trade association.
Scott has taught E-Commerce at the Columbia Gorge Community College, Hood River Community Education, and Northside Community Education for over ten years.
Online Course Curriculum
- The course is conducted by a series of email, each with instructions on how to proceed with the next step.
- There is online reading material and a checklist provided for each step.
- Support is provided by an online bulletin board.
