Overview

Your tax accountant is one of the most important people if your life. Your tax accountant keeps you from giving money away unnecessarily. Money is hard enough to make without giving it away. Quoting IRS Publication 1, "You are responsible for paying on the the correct amount of tax due under the law--no more, no less."
